My name is Zachary (Zack) Allen Behney. My musician handle is Nil Desperandum meaning, “Never Say Die” which has so many implications and is also a big nod to other artists and a pretty famous movie from the 80s... Anyway...

I am 29 right now. I grew up in a weird time between 2D-3D console gaming, and was left the entire NES and SNES library thanks to my two older brothers not playing video games anymore. I never stopped though. I have always loved chiptune music. It is so unique, and so identifiable. The coding that goes behind it, and the NES 6502 Assembly is also unique and identifiable. For a while, I had a little boy that I took care of like a son. He is a high-functioning, non-verbal autistic little boy, and he is really cool. He is unique and identifiable for sure. His neuro-diversity taught me many things about my own ways of thinking.

This all goes into my songs, and especially these tracks I selected for submission (plus they are my newest releases). My life, my emotions, my own thought patterns. The music itself is a celebration of neuro-diversity for each channel separately plays a tune, and together they play a unique symphony inspired by experiences, and other people. I would love to be featured with these submissions or anything else I have ever Tracked that I can provide access for not for any attention or anything (even though a few more listeners would be pretty cool), but for the sake of the people who just might need to hear what my music has to “say” to them in that one moment where no one else might understand them.
