Inspiration / Motivation:
Initially I just knew that I wanted to incorporate what I’ve learned since my last submission into a track that still retained some of the heavy guitar playing I enjoy. However, as soon as I wrote the first part – the jazzy verse riff – I knew this song was going to be about going on an adventure. Like any adventure worth having, I knew there had to be highs and lows, good times and bad. My hope was to take the listener on a journey, with all it’s danger and all its fun, where eventually they find the happy ending they’re striving for.
